Marco D. Britt, Esq.Prior to inviting Marco Britt to join the Board of Directors of Lawyers to the Rescue, the organization honored Mr. Britt as “Lawyer of Month” in one of its earliest public announcements. He was recognized for his outstanding achievements and work on behalf of animal rights with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, an extraordinary organization with a mission to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. The Animal Legal Defense Fund’s work is accomplished by pro bono legal representation of lawyers such as Mr. Britt.
An experienced attorney and community leader, Mr. Britt is a long standing asset of the Lawyers to the Rescue team. As Associate General Counsel at the Cisneros Group of Companies, Mr. Britt handles a wide variety of international, corporate and entertainment law issues. Mr. Britt is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned both a Juris Doctor and an LL.M. (Masters of Law) in Taxation. He also has a B.S. and M.A. from the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida.
