By learning, speaking out, volunteering, and donating.
Learning:
- Educating ourselves by searching for the latest notable events.
- Signing up for email updates.
- Attending events in our area.
Speaking out:
Be the voice of individuals and families who are in need of our help.
Volunteering:
- Giving time is the most valuable contribution you can make.
- Roll up your sleeves and help at a soup kitchen near you.
- Plant a tree.
- Mentor a student.
Donating:
- Give what you can.
- Give monthly.
- Give annually– and not just money, but clothing that no longer fits you or your kids.
- Buy school supplies for kids who can’t afford them.
Pro Bono Opportunities:
Pro Bono Opportunities can be found at the Courts website www.flsd.uscourts.gov and are regularly distributed by way of electronic email blast. In addition, I urge each of you to register via the website to be included in a Pro Bono Panel list of those attorneys.
